This incident caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
