I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
